Key Accomplishments:

• Operated as Lead Developer for UCLA Strategic Communications’ departmental website overhaul. Collaborating with teams such as Design, Brand Marketing, Strategic Insights, and Communications. Presented updates on progress to key stakeholders including the Office of the Vice Chancellor. After the project went live, I was presented the Culture of Collaboration award for driving UCLA’s core values.

• Mentored and supervised a team of seven student workers over the course of my employment.

• Developed portions of a new and robust component library to be used across campus to promote UCLA brand consistency.

• Assisted in many UX design projects, including sites such as UCLA Brand Guidelines and Hispanic Serving Institution. Additionally lead a UX research project in which I researched the UCLA app environment to categorize properly vs improperly branded apps. This prompted Strategic Communications to discuss with campus partners on properly following brand guidelines.

• Developed and implemented UCLA WordPress templates into new and existing sites.
